Saya kangen sebuah tempat. Sebuah tempat yang jadi salah satu hometown saya.

Kota itu, tempat saya ngerasain persahabatan (yang saya pikir itu adalah satu-satunya persahabatan sesungguhnya yang pernah saya punya), jatuh cinta (dan itu adalah jatuh cinta teraneh yang pernah saya alami), rivalitas (yang entah kenapa rasanya seru, kaya di film-film), sampe nangis kejer, katarsis, teriak. Ya, nangis kejer, kejer sekejer-kejernya, sejadi-jadinya, karena patah hati.

Kota itu mendewasakan saya. Saya pernah menggenggam cinta yang luar biasa, pernah dihajar patah hati yang juga luar biasa, pun merasakan kehilangan yang luar biasa waktu Opa kembali ke Allah SWT. Saya pernah ngerasain bahagianya sukses dengan usaha sendiri di sana. Kalau ngga tinggal di kota itu, saya ngga akan jadi Icha yang sekarang.

Saya kangen kota itu. Saya kangen hujannya, kangen petirnya, kangen cakwe langganan di pinggir jalan, mal tempat nongkrong tiap weekend, macetnya, angkotnya. Saya kangen spot-spot yang membawa saya flashback ke semua kenangan di sana.

Saya suka kota itu, tapi hati saya ngga pernah bisa belong di sana. Ironis memang. Tapi saya punya sesuatu, seseorang, yang bikin saya selalu pengen balik ke sana. Walau cuma buat mengecap kenangan-kenangan yang ngga bisa digenggam lagi.

Kota itu bukan Franklin, Tennesse kaya di lagu ini. Tapi kota itu menakjubkan. Sama seperti apa yang pernah saya alami di sana.

Untuk mereka yang mengerti, tanpa disebut pun pasti tau.
